New Press Installation

May 6, 2013 by GeorgeMal

heidelberg-pressOur new Heidelberg Printing Press is being installed ahead of schedule at paintcanlabels.com’s new facility in Deer Park. NY. After being in storage here in the states for several months as we worked out final details regarding our new facility, a team of electricians, riggers, mechanics, and software techs along with our employees have converged in the facility and are working together to ensure a smooth installation. If estimates are accurate we expect to begin printing our very first labels on this new press as early as May 20th!!!

The latest addition to our pressroom, a brand new Heidelberg printing press, is due to be installed at our new facility in Deer Park, NY this coming summer. This press features 5 colors plus in-line aqueous coating, all controlled by the latest Heidelberg closed loop monitoring technology, Prinect Inpress!
The following is from the Heidelberg website:

Prinect Inpress Control automatically measures and controls color and register on the fly and at any speed. Integrated directly into the press, the measuring unit measures process colors, spot colors and register in the print control strip. Any corrections required are forwarded directly to the Prinect Press Center for adjustment. As the press does not need to be stopped for either make-ready or monitoring of the production run, Prinect Inpress Control achieves maximum productivity.

As always, we strive to provide the most consistent, color-accurate printing for our customers. Our investment, not only in this new equipment but also the latest technology to accompany it, coupled with our Prinect front end ensures that you receive the best printing available today.heidelberg
